Santee Car Show 2011

Saturday October 8th was the second annual Santee Car Show hosted by the Santee Chamber of Commerce. The car show was from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. and occupied Riverview Parkway at Mission Gorge Ave between the Hartford building and Town Center Parkway. There were over 150 classic vehicles on display, along with automotive, food, beer garden, and other vendors.

The Moondawg’s started the music entertainment at 10:30. At 1:30, the 4 Lads from Liverpool, a Beatle tribute group, continued the entertainment.

The highlight of the show was the raffling of a completely restored ’67 mustang by Lloyd’s Auto Body and Collision. Close to 2000 tickets were sold. The winning ticket was drawn by surprise guest, DJ “Shotgun” Tom Kelly of K-EARTH101 FM out of Los Angeles. Robert Gutierrez is the proud owner of the ’67 Mustang.
